Do you mean Glendoick House in Kinfauns, Perthshire?
You do not give any dates or parents' names which make it difficult and slow to assist.
Australia is a rather large place – where and when did David go to Australia?

Dr. Youl held an inquest at the Hospital today, on the body of David Kettels, a ship's carpenter, aged 54 years, who died on Sunday last. He was a publican at Nagambie at the time of his death. Peter McClarty, a shipsmith, stated the deceased was staying at his house in South Melbourne since his arrival. They went to the races on Saturday, and both got drunk. The deceased left McClarty on the Hill, and witness remained waiting for him, but deceased never returned. Witness slept on the racecourse all night, and saw nothing of the deceased after he left him on the Hill. A watchman on the railway stated that at a quarter to one on Sunday morning he found the deceased in the Railway reserve. He asked the deceased how he came there, and he replied he had been knocked down by a train. The deceased was lying in water. Deceased appeared to be sober. Dr. C. J. Shields stated the deceased's left thigh and arm were broken, and he was also suffering from other injuries which caused his death. The jury returned a verdict of death from injuries accidentally received..
Deceased left a widow and two children.

The best place to look for information about Scottish families is www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk.
However you need to start with records in Australia to make sure that you are looking for the right person when you get further back.

Have you seen his marriage certificate? Does it give you the names of his parents? Do they match the names in the VIC deaths index, which are James Kettels and Ann Young?

David Kettles, son of James Kettles and Ann Young, was baptised at Kinfauns, Perthshire, on 25 November 1829.  This couple had at least five other children. See attachment.

By 1841 the family had moved to Dundee. See second attachment.

The Scottish deaths index shows three deaths of K*t*l*s with mother Young. See third attachment. You can view the originals of all these baptism, census and deaths documents online. It's pay-per-view, but a fraction of the cost of getting one certificate from VIC. (Currently GBP £1.50 compared with AUS$ 22.00 for the cheapest option, for which you could have nearly 6 Scottish documents)
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Photography was in it infancy when David Kettles emigrated to Australia. If you want photographs you are going to have to work forward from the information you have until you get to more recent generations.

Thanks for your idea .It is the early families that I would like to get  if possible? I do have a photo of David Kettels and his son and daughter but I was hoping that maybe a family member of his siblings may have photos of David’s parents and siblings Maybe if at all possible? A big ask but you do not know. Thank you for your reply , much appreciated thanks. Annette ellen .😊
