Shellyesq, Michael was born in 1881, from Clonlum, Armagh, Ireland. He was baptised 23 Sep, 1881 - parents were Michael Hanlon and Catherine Tole. He worked in ships as a fireman, and seems to have gone backwards and forwards to New York.   In his mother's obituary in 1930, it is stated that he is in New York. I cannot find him there, or when he died. His wife seems to have stayed in England.

What was her maiden name.

The marriage was registered in West Derby in 1904. Mary's maiden name was Traynor. I also have the Catholic marriage record. I would post a screenshot but can’t work out how to do it.

I got hung up on the baptism record of 24 February 1905 and the fact that she gave her DOB as

18 March 1905.

What I can’t work out, is where the Agnes O'Hanlon comes from. She is with the family in 1921. Says she is 16 yrs 1 month old, the same as Kate/Catherine. According to the census she is Michael's daughter, but I can’t find any birth or baptism for her.
