Would the Medal Index Card give his Enlistment number prior to 75019 ?
Large Pay arrears paid to his Widow and Son implies he was in the Army a While ?

His MIC only gives 75019 and 51459

The calculation was £5 for year 1 + 10s. for
every month thereafter.
This equates to 2 years & 5 months up until March 1919.
This gives an attestation date of Aug./Sept. 1916.
