The Julian calendar was used until circa 1752*, when the current Gregorian calendar was introduced in uk . This began in March rather than January .Thus the the baptism was really in Jan 1727..

Hi
There is a Hugh Murrall s of Hugh and Dorohty bapt at Church Pulverbatch 22 Feb 1738 and buried 27th.

There is a burial for a Hugh Morell no details given Wroxeter 8.10.1770.

Children Jane 1726/1727 Stapleton where Dorothy came from
             John 8.12.1728 CP
             Thomas Mar 1730 CP
             Richard 2.3.1732
             Mary 8.4.1735 Cp -9.6.1735
             William 14.6.1736
             Hugh 1738-1738 CP
Hugh 8.4.1740 Church Pulverbatch burial 17 Dec 1799 Lilleshall.
            Samuel 5.9.1744

Their marriage licence states he is of Condover and she is from Stapleton.
I'm guessing despite this he was baptised at Hodnet 22 July 1697 s of John and Mary ,and named after his grandfather Hugh Murrell . And I'd go with Wroxeter for his burial

ps Samuel, Richard and Thomas seem to be from the Eakin side in case it helps
And just spotted a settlement document saying he worked in Wroxeter before his marriage to Dorothy

So reasonable he went back

Cheers guys. Maybe Hugh died at work in Wroxeter? Seems Jane, Richard and Hugh (b 1740) as well as Dorothy moved to Wellington and married. Jane i think is a possible ancestor.
