Earnest Raymond Watts

Trying to help a workmate out with his family history. Earnest Raymond Watts was born in 1931 in Towcester, Northamptonshire, and died in 2002. Trying to sort out 'all' of his marriages and children, so as to get further back in time. Believe one of his marriages was to Sheila Eydman or Sheila Farley, but information given to me is scarce. Any help would be very much welcomed.

He died in 2005, not 2002.

His parents were Frederick Alfred Watts (1908-1993) & Doris N G Rogers,(1910-1971) married Towcester, 1930.

Grandparents were Frederick Charles Watts & Emily Loveridge, married 1903, Towcester.

I can see two marriages for an Ernest R Watts in Northamptonshire - one in Brixworth in 1951 and one in Towcester in 1966.

There are possible children from the first marriage but I cannot see any from the second. I'm not putting names as they may still be alive.

His 1st marriage was in 1951, in Brixworth to Patricia Chapman. The 2nd in 1966 to the one you mentioned above.

Looks like 4 children from 1st marriage between 1951 & 1958.

There is a tree on Ancestry by a descendant of Earnest, I think granddaughter, and takes the Watts line back to a Thomas, born in 1709, in Harbury, Warwickshire.

This is from the Ernest Raymond Watts and Patricia Rose Chapman (1932-2001) family.

Other branches go back as far as 1650, although the tree owners don't seem to be active.
