Sorry..the surname is written correctly as 'Lough'.  It was 'Luff' in the 1841 census.

Tks Grandahog.

Also, Maria Hopkins........I have a possible marriage for her to Robert Hopkins 3rd qtr 1845 Sevenoakes, Kent.  However, in the 1841 census they seem to be man and wife.   She was 45 yrs old which seems very old for a lady to get married; so wondered whether indeed it was a 2nd marriage for her.  Can anyone view the marriage details of 1845?  Robert seemed to be painter also; as stated in the 1841 census (but very blurry).

Cant see a Parish Marriage for 1845.
There is a Parish marriage at Kingsdown. Sevenoaks on 20 April 1817 of a Thomas Cook to Mary Staples that would fit the time frame for a first marriage.

Tks...
One more thing regarding 1841 census St John the Baptist Margate.
The 1841 census has my 3x g/grandfather, then a boy of 7 yrs, named "Luff".  His sister is also with him, aged 3 yrs;  and her name is 'Alice' (but is transcribed as Alliss).  I am not too sure how to get these names corrected.  This is where Maria Hopkins and Robert Hopkins 1841 census is connected.
Edwin Henry Luff to LOUGH and Alliss Luff to ALICE LOUGH.
Tks...
