In Carl's case it is a little more confusing it seems. Although his father's name is Jöns, it should read Carl Gustaf Oscar Jönsson, but instead he took Johansson. I have seen this a lot. Johansson seems more natural it appears.


His surname was Jöns but changed to Johan later on as you see with records posted above.

Found this photo of Regeringsgatan 87 Stockholm before it was demolished. Carl would have lived in one of the houses in the photo.

I've been trying to figure out where they lived from 1856 to 1858. I found another examination record of Carl and his family from 1858-1860, but I'm having trouble figuring out where it says they were from before.

It says they came from Enhörna.
