The Plough Inn, Boughton, Earls Croome
« on: Saturday 11 November 23 02:50 GMT (UK) »
I'm trying to discover where The Plough Inn was - it appears as an address in 'Boughton, Earls Croome' on a form dated 1915. From the 1888-1913 map I can see 'Inn' which is today The Jockey Inn. Anyone know if this was it or where it might have been? Ideally I'd like to also know who was living there at the time of the 1911 census.
Thanks.

1911 The Harbon Family
Headed by Walter Harbon

Added..have you looked through the 1901 census. That gives a reasonable idea of where it was in relation to other properties I think, but need more map, which I am sure you have,

The Tewkesbury Register and Gazette 18 Oct 1952

Article about a collison at Hill Croome.   A witness of Firs Farm, Boughton, Earls Croome said at the time of the collision he was delivering milk at Hill Croome to the Council Houses opposite the Plough Inn   ??

Added - this map has Hill Croome and Boughton but doesn't help much https://maps.nls.uk/view/102342701#zoom=5&lat=6961&lon=3628&layers=BT

Hi
