In 1945-6 West Sussex electoral register with daughter Elsie Maud Moseley & Frederick

STRINGER, ELSIE  MAUD     mmn ELLIS 
GRO Reference: 1907  M Quarter in THAKEHAM  Volume 02B  Page 304

1939 dob 11.10.1882 (Image also appears to indicate 11.10.1879)

1921 aged 39y 8mths  born Luton
1911 aged 28 born Luton
1904 aged 22 spinster married Martin Charles Stringer=Father Samuel Ellis=occ=Carpenter
1901?
1891?

Who were the witnesses at the wedding? They might hold some clues

I came across this person on 1901 in Storrington (where Alice Ellis married)

Edward Parlett 46
Emily Parlett    36
Edward H Parlett  10
Alice M Bone    21    Servant  b Luton

However she seems to be the daughter of Frederick and Mary Bone (nee Bass) so no obvious reason for her to be also known as Alice Ellis

Witnesses were J Stringer & Edith Prodger--cannot find a link though.
