Fred. Jones - Cheshire / Lancashire (overlap)

Looking for the final resting place of Frederick Jones, who died 30 April 1961 at Warrington General Hospital. His usual address was given as Chester Road, Walton, Cheshire. He would have been aged about 74 years.

He is not buried in Warrington Cemetery (also Fox Covert and Walton Lea not open then) nor was he cremated at Manchester Crematorium.

I'm wondering which place to search next, any suggestions welcome.

I think Walton is near Liverpool, so maybe somewhere in the Liverpool area.

Sorry, not the Liverpool Walton but the Cheshire Walton near Warrington.

I didn't think of that Walton!  Sometimes people are buried in or near a family grave, so perhaps where his parents are buried.

I've checked Wrexham Cemetery, where his parents and sisters are buried, but he's not there either!

I have no other suggestions about from either Chester or Altrincham.  Hopefully, others will have more ideas.

Why would you think Manchester Crematorium? Did he have family in Manchester?
