Fred was a son of Joseph Lambert (c1836-1902) and Frances Jane Page (1841-1912). He married Florence Elizabeth Knights born Q2 1876 St Neots, Huntingdonshire, at Croydon, Surrey 11 May 1902. After the marriage I can find no trace of either of them in the censuses or any records?

There is a Leslie Lambert age 20 bn Croydon in the army in 1921 

ADDED - That could be L W Lambert who was born Merton according to army records though other records suggest his name was Leonard William Lambert
