No. The only records I have are those available on Ancestry. Four at Walmer, which matches name origin and year of birth as well as the Sudan Star with Suakin clasp awarded in 1886. I am not entirely sure the 1900 Chelsea Hospital reference is him, as with the 1886 medal list from HMS Carysfort. Proven to be very ellusive.

I presume that you have seen the articles on his stealing the Lime Blue in the Banbury Advertiser 9th March 1876 where it mentions he was going to join the Militia or the Artillery available on British Newspaper archive.

I would expect to find his Royal Marine service records on TNA website, others that joined up around the same time are there.
