idris davies rasc welsh service corps nr 37063 uniform identification please

hi, have a photograph ,written on reverse is idris davies abertaf villa abercynon , my info says he was in welsh service co and was a driver/batman he was born 1889, but army say 1893, , he was injured in france ww1 .can anyone please identify and confirm cap badge / uniform and any info you can glean from it   thanking you john

The Welch Regt. & he's a driver.
Shoulder title not right.
He's Glamorgan Yeomanry.
As you already have some info on him can you tell us what you have.
Can see just 1 Idris Davies Glam. Yeo. but he had the middle name Edgar. Commissioned 1918.
Is this your man?
The 1/1 was the only Squadron to go overseas, first to Egypt & then France May 1918.

hello Jim 1, thanks for looking at the post, idris davies was born in pentyrch nr cardiff, family moved to abertaff villas abercynon between 1901-1911, army service records 1914-1921 idris at 2 abertuff villas, reg nr 37063,army service corps attested at porthcawl 7 -12-1914till 27 9 16 plus bits more ,as driver welsh army corps,expeditionary force to france  3 nedals victory 1914 star , british war . army reserve class z 20-1-19 idris never married went to canada and usa, for years came back to wales, where he died about 1960 glamorgan  will this help you Jim ?,he was a brother to my wifes grandfather yours in hope john

If you're satisfied the service record you've seen is your man then the man in the photo
must be someone else & has been incorrectly labelled.
Your Idris attested into the (R)ASC 332 Coy. to be precise which was attached to the
38th. (Welsh) Div.
He was never in the Glamorgan Yeomanry.
When asked the question re. previously served he answers no.

I agree with jim1 that the photograph is a man in the Glamorgan Yeomanry. Can you post an image of the reverse please?
