Thomas Row birth c1760
« on: Thursday 16 November 23 20:21 GMT (UK) »
I have Thomas Row, father of Grace Rowe (who was baptised 1789 St Levan) and married to Grace Thomas at St Levan in 1781. Grace Thomas baptised 1755 st Levan, to Thomas. No mention of mother though.

I think I found his death at St Levan in 1808.

Can anyone find his birth and parents please?

You may have to look again at Grace, wife to Thomas Row as she was a widow when she married.

From the marriage record 1 Dec 1781 St Levan
Thomas Row – of this parish and he signed named
Grace Thomas – widow,  of this parish, she made her mark
Witnesses Thos Tonkin and Jno Matthews.

Children baptised St Levan to Thomas Row and Grace
Jane 1783, Mary 1784, Peter 1786, Grace 1789, Elizabeth 1793

Grace may have been ---

Grace ANGWIN who married James Thomas 1779 ST Levan
Both OTP he signed, she marked.

(James Thomas burial St Levan Dec 1780 )

There is a Grace ANGWIN baptised in Just in Penwith in 1752 to Martin and Elizabeth
There is a Grace ANGWIN baptised in St Buryan in 1747 to Henry and Anne

OR

Grace ELLIS who married Martin Thomas in 1778 ST Levan.
Both OTP, he signed, she marked.

Have you found the death for this Grace Row and what age was she when died?

Ooh well done! I hadn't noticed the widow bit. Thank you for those. I'll look into that tomorrow 😊
