There is a Harry James Masters up to 1922 - no idea what his connection was

There is a marriage between a Harry J Masters and Elsie M Moulden in 1914, so maybe he is a son in law if Albert  had a daughter Elsie with either Selina (1st wife) or Mary Jane

ADDED
Just seen that had already been answered
Berks / Oxon: Eltham, Annetts, Wiltshire (surname not county), Hawkins, Pembroke, Partridge
Dorset / Hants: Derham, Stride, Purkiss, Sibley
Yorkshire: Pottage, Carr, Blackburn, Depledge
Sussex: Goodyer, Christopher, Trevatt
Lanark: Scott (soldier went to Jersey CI)
Jersey: Fowler, Huelin, Scott

I think ive got a pretty hard search on my hands,

The person in question is albert george moulden
born in Reading berkshire in 1868 baptized in 1869 in aug (baptized albert charles moulden)

lived in berkshire untill 1894 first wife died and married second wife moved to Broadway, Worcestershire for work with the post office
also lived in  East Molesey, Surrey

last seen with his wife and children at 27 Stanley Rd, Hounslow
Occupation   given as Upholsterer

he was working in the post office then suddenly changes profession

he seemed to have a seperate place of work for a few years between 1906 and 1908 in surrey Avern road and manor road

now i have looked in to every child of his and his wife and parents and nothing i cant find him any where, by the time ww1 starts he is over 40 so too old to fight. i thought maybe he was going by a differnt name but i have no proof that it could be him.

some where between 1921 and 1939 he could of died because on his wifes 1921 census record it says she married and he has been listed as not dead on most of his childrens marriage certs but on 1939 register it says widow.

Mary J Moulden living in Cecil Road Hounslow

i dont know what to look at next.. maybe a name change ? or is there any other way i can look for the name moulden, it has been transcribed as moulder in the past

Albert does seem pretty elusive after 1911 census   ???

You mention he was baptised as Albert Charles have you tried this name?

On any of his children's marriage cert. did it give an occupation for Albert?

Maybe he is a patient in a hospital somewhere with only his initials being used  :-\

Did he leave the UK?  Have you tried passenger lists?

That does seem a strange change. Working for the post office then would sound like a secure kind of job. Can you pinpoint when he changed?. He is shown as an upholsterer in 1901. What was his occupation when daughter Edith Hilda's birth was registered. Have you looked at newspapers to see if he is mentioned in regard to any incident which might prompt him to change his job.

And why an upholsterer? How did he learn the trade? His father was a police inspector, His second father in law was a farmer - so not from them.

 the change seems to fluctuate

1891 he was a post office clerk berkshire ( but just says clerk on the census)
1900 worchestershire in the stamp department
1901 upholsterer on the census in berkshire
1906 to 1908 says upholserer on some directories and some say nothing but with the same address
1911 upholsterer in census

every marriage i have for the children says upholsterer , i dont have all of them and his sons who was the last to marry but in new zeland in 1933 says furniture maker, from newly found family members they say that he didnt get along with his son and ive been told to stop asking questions to the persons family members wife as it was upseting the elderly relative.

im not sure if he left i have got things in my shoe box on ancestery but none have any evidence for me to proceed with it, and hospitals i havent checked coz its hard to go by just initials
