burials
« on: Thursday 16 November 23 22:12 GMT (UK) »
I have just come across parish records for burials where the name of the deceased and the date of burial are followed by the word affidavit.
I have never seen this before, can anyone enlighten me.
Thankyou Liz

Thank you for your replies, the burials occurred in the 1780s so within the time frame of the act.
