Hello, can anyone locate a baptism or marriage for the following couple please, probably in Ireland (and if not, then likely Lancashire/Yorkshire borders):

Bradshaw ALLISTER.  (b. approx.1830 Ireland OR Kirkham, Lancs. d. 1904, Todmorden, Lancs.)(Birthplace is 'Ireland' on the 1871 England census but 'Kirkham, Lancs' on the 1881-1901 England censuses)

He married:

Mary MADILL. (b. about 1830. d. 1913) Born Newbliss, Monaghan. Source: later English censuses.
NB: I only know her MMN because it is on some of their children's on GRO birth records (eg James 1853 and Sarah Ann 1859 in Fylde and Margaret 1876 in Todmorden).

Date of marriage: unknown but they started having children in 1853.

I'd love a baptism for either of them and their marriage please if anyone can find it. I've had a good search but they're elusive.

I have not been able to find anything in UK or Ireland before 1871 for them. I have used fuzzy searching and also McAllister and MacAllister.

I have not found any early census for either of them (1841, 1851 or 1861 or Irish census substitute).

A website* states they were at Smithson's Court, Kirkham, in 1861 when he was an ag. lab but I have not been able to view the record for this (and this is on my wishlist to locate too!)

--------

Things I already know (and don't therefore need):

They moved from Fylde (Kirkham village) to Todmorden in the 1870s.

1) I don't need anything 1871 onwards as I have the 1871-1901 census records for them and multiple ER for around 1890-1920 in Todmorden.
2) 1888 marriage - to Betsy BROWNBRIDGE - as it is NOT the right one.
3) anything on Bradshaw Allister's son - of the same name...army hero of Lancs Fusiliers. It's the son's marriage of 1888 and he lived 1866-1940.

Thank you very much for any leads!

Thank you very much, it’s certainly worth looking at. I might need some help to take this line of enquiry further if you or anyone else would be able to assist please: I have not found any other records with these possible parents names for Mary.

Thank you very much for your effort s.  Can you find anything for the generation before this though as Bradshaw’s children are already known to me? I’m really in need of his baptism records plus Mary’s baptism plus their marriage and anything else prior to their marriage.

Hannah Madill died at age 71 and was buried February 22, 1879 in Todmorden, Christ Church. Finding the marriages for her son William and daughter Margaret should provide you with their father's names.
