Looking for ideas about finding a birth
« on: Saturday 18 November 23 19:41 GMT (UK) »
Hi! I am researching the Owens/Byrne family in Drogheda, specifically Rose Anne (Ann) Owens. I've been able to find a marriage between William John Owens (father Thomas Owens, sailor) and Mary Byrne (father Mick Byrne, mason) in 1882 in St. Peters Parish (see attachment) and a registered birth of Rose's sister, Jane in 1883 (see attachment).

However, I haven't been able to find any birth or baptismal records for an Owens (either Rose, Rose Ann, Roseann, Anne, or unknown name) at any time in any county to these parents between 1880 and 1886. She seems to have been born on July 13, 1884 (according to the US SS Death Index) and lived on Thomas Street until moving to Liverpool when she came to the U.S. on the Campania, arriving at Ellis Island on December 3, 1910.

Any help is appreciated!
