The Mason family seem to be living in the village of Kingham through the censuses.
Thomas was an ‘Ag Lab’.

Perhaps the brothers just fell on hard times or travelled for employment staying where they could.

Many thanks for all the repkies really appreciated looks like Me G g nans Grt Uncles def fell on hard times then must of been absolute nightmare!
Would anyone be good enough to send me the census records for both George and his brother bein in Barns if thats allowed ?
Just left for me to find out Elizabeths mothers maiden name before her marriage to Thomas Mason and this part ofme trees near enuff complete👌

Familysearch has free access to census, you just need to be registered
