Marie Christine Frenet wife of Charles Arseneau in Wisconsin

Hi everyone,

Could someone help me find the death record of Marie Christine Frenet wife of Charles Arseneau? On FamilySearch, it says that she was buried in Washburn, Wisconsin on October 28th 1948, but there is no source attached.

She married Charles Arseneau in Petit-Rocher, New Brunswick, Canada on August 14th 1888. She is the daughter of Michel Frenet/Frenette and Rose Comeau and was born on October 17th 1866 in Petit-Rocher.

On the 1910 US census, she was living in Washburn, Wisconsin with her husband and children.

If you go to the website, click on the picture of the grave marker there is a picture of her she died 27 October 1948.

Assuming she died in Wisconsin, I don't think there are Wisconsin death records online for that time period.  They can be ordered online - https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/vitalrecords/index.htm

The Washburn library's website says, "If There's Something You Want Us To Do
Just Ask. We Probably Can."   That's the kind of library attitude I like.    They might be able to look up an obituary or death notice for you.  There is an email address at the bottom of this page - https://www.washburnlibrary.org/resources

I’m sorry Martin, I cannot provide a link as it is from Ancestry.  The full title is:
Wisconsin, U.S., Death Records, 1959-2004
I don’t know if FamilySearch might have similar records.

Unfortunately, there were no additional details (no town) in her record.
