Looking for two burials
« on: Thursday 23 November 23 18:19 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to locate two burials, one for Annie TOPLIS(S), née LANE, and one for her husband Francis TOPLIS.

Annie died on 06 Nov 1903 at Danbury, Burton upon Trent.

Francis died on 13 April 1926 at Draycott in the Clay.

Any help or insight would be welcome.

Have you checked newspapers for an obituary or death notice that might give the burial information?.

Yes. I believe that I have thoroughly checked both Ancestry and FindMyPast, including the newspapers found on the latter.

The two above sites are usually very good on parish burials, but have less extensive coverage of local cemeteries, which were of course more used in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. I was hoping that someone with expertise in the records of local cemeteries might be able to help.
