Help dating photo

Hello all,

Can anybody help me date this photo? I am not very good with men's fashion and finding it hard to work out. It's a family photo on my Batten side of the family but cannot figure out who it is.

I am GUESSING 1920's but the experts will know! Perhaps a tad easier to see all in one go.

I'm a bit late to the party as I've been sorting out a new phone!

I'm in agreement with the others. I have a photo of my father and his brothers wearing the collar bar like the man on the right in early 1920s.  I only have one pic of  similar neck ware to the man on the left but that was in 1931at a wedding!

I don't know anything about dating but the footwear of the man on the left is intreauging.
They seem to be heavily patched on the sole and the laces are pulled as tight as they will go. the eyelets edge to edge a if he has inherited someone elses footwear ??

I don't think they're repairs.
He's the only one wearing boots & he may have weak ankles &
the build up is to help with walking.
