Hi,
@milliepede Emmeline was in a workhouse and then was committed to a mental asylum. This is definitely the right Louisa, especially with the shred Ball surname and all. Has anyone been able t.o establish if she married?

is this her witnessing a marriage in 1883?

Yes looks positive especially as Benjamin Green is also on there as the other witness.

So that's the most up to date sighting of her thus far - 1883.

No marriage or death found for her as yet.  Benjamin Green died in 1890.

Another link to tie in the marriage she witnessed.

Aunt Louisa M Green is a cousin with the Chamberlain family (the married couple above)  in 1891.

The groom, George Chamberlain, first wife was Clara Ball

Hi all,
This seems so strange. She seems to vanish without a trace! Do you think Louisa M Green in Louisa Jenman and the age in 1891 is miswritten or mistranscribed?

She certainly does.

I took it the other Louisa was her Aunt - the widow of Benjamin Green - who she was living with in 1871/1881.
