COMPLETED: I can't download an image from Familysearch.
« on: Wednesday 29 November 23 16:03 GMT (UK) »
I have found a page on FamilySearch and I would like to download it if possible. Unfortunately, the download and print buttons don't seem to be working for me.
I have tried using Firefox, Chrome and Edge, all with no success. I can take a screen grab of the relevant information but I'd really like the full page if possible.
Any suggestions?

A link to the page I'm looking at is here:

Thanks in advance for your help.

You can't download it.  It clearly says, "For copies of these records contact Cheshire Record Office at DUKE STREET CHESTER CHESHIRE United Kingdom CH1 1RL."

If you have access to FindMyPast then the same image is available, and you can definitely download from there.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

I have just right clicked and saved the image on familysearch but it pixilates if you try to increase the size

If you rotate the image 90° and increase it to the maximum size your screen will permit, you can get a decent sized image with good resolution that you can screen capture or clip.
