Looking for death of great grandfather
« on: Thursday 30 November 23 20:40 GMT (UK) »
Hello rootschat, hope everyone is well

Might be a bit of a longshot, but I was wondering if anyone could help find a death for my great grandfather.

His name was Thomas Fitzpatrick, he was born in 1904 in Commons, Tipperary to Patrick Fitzpatrick. The family are not 100% certain where or when he died, we believe it might have been between 1979 and 1986 in Ballingarry, possibly around October.

I know shortly before his death he was a resident at St Senan's Hospital in Enniscorthy, Wexford.

I've tried getting his record from the GRO Dublin, but the search facility want his date of death, which I don't have.

any help would be appreciated.

Was he a musician? There is a Thomas Fitzpatrick died 29th October 1982 in Ballingarry.
If it's him, there is a fairly big article on him in the Tipperary Star.
Number of Wexford people at the funeral.

PM me an email address if you want it.
