Am  researching  Ivor Morgan born 1924  trying to find his famiiy

Flight  Sergeant Ivor Morgan  Service Number  1337960   Regiment  Royal Air Force Reserve
Sqdn.  Date of death  18th July  1944 age 20 years
Buried  Runnymede  Memorial  UK   Panel 220

Aircraft caught fire  on the outbound leg  exploded and crashed between  Reading and Maidenhead
 on the way to  Caen France

 Any help with his family his memorial is in Llanwit Faedre Glamorgan so may have been local

 There is a project run by our local council to digitalis  details of all included on War memorials

Have you looked on the 1939 register as it is possible he was still at home at the beginning of the war

There is an Ivor Morgan b.1924 at 6 Mervyn Street, Pontypridd, also Violet Morgan b.1921 who married a Bunt. I don’t have a subscription, but this information was offered by Find My Past.
