There's a clue to his mother's identity in a 1932 US passenger list where he names his uncle Joseph B Waith (Adventure Estate), as his nearest relative in Trinidad.

Joseph Bruce Waith was possibly a son of Samson Waith.

We now have another daughter of George Hagar,  Hilda Blanche Culverhouse in Faversham 1901 with a birth date of 1888, but when I searched immigrants she is on the manifest with mother and 2 siblings arriving in UK May 1894 birth year now 1885 but sadly the manifest is not reliable as mother has been entered as Mrs Culverhouse age 44 and the children as miss Culverhouse age 12, Hilda age 9 and Guy age 7.
Hilda returned to Trinidad and died there 11 July 1908
Just to tidy things up Percy Blunt born Cardiff 20 Nov 1883 after wife and son's deaths married Catherine Gale 27 Feb 1918 in India and died Jan 1961 Wandsworth, Surrey.
Mainly researching the Lees from Herts but also compiling a one name study of Culverhouse
