1957-1958 Moston Cemetery Lookup Please

Hi,

My great-grandfather William 'Bill' O'Brien died 26th October 1957 at Moston Lane.

He was born in 22 May 1919. He did not have a spouse.

I have always wondered where he was buried, and if so, what the grave inscription says.

I assume he would have been buried in Moston, although he was originally from Prestwich.

Yes I do. The certificate states DEATH in the Sub-district of Manchester Northern in the County Borough of Manchester.

He actually passed away in October rather than December sorry. He died 26th October at 472 Moston Lane Moston.

You could try enquiring then because you have a date of death and the funeral would be a few days later presumably.
We have enquired previously at the office and they looked it up but we had to be close to the date and that death was more recent.
