Joseph Snell who married Wilmot Pawly in 1712 in Talland/ South Hill
« on: Sunday 03 December 23 22:08 GMT (UK) »
I have Joseph Snell who married Wilmot Pawley in 1712 Talland. Found this on ancestry but they also have these two marrying in South Hill.

I have Wilmot baptised in 1682 to John Pawley and Honor Piper (not found their births) but this would make her thirty when she married. Not impossible, but unusual ... Unless she was a widow, but can't see whether she was a spinster or widow when she married Joseph.

I have three children: Nicholas 1712, Jane 1715 and Joseph 1719.

Looking for birth and parents for Joseph senior.
Also John Pawley and Honor Piper would be great but realise it's way back and records may not have survived.

Thanks.

P.s. did find a marriage for Joseph Snell and Joan Grills 1700 South Hill on Cornwall OPC database. Don't know if it's just a coincidence? It was the two different ancestry records for Joseph and Wilmot that made me wonder.

Found Joan Grills baptism in South Hills in 1676 to Richard Grills
Jamiesons, Martins and McGonigals of Coleraine, Londonderry
and
Cullens, Grahams and Challenors of Dublin county and city.
