Ah  - did you go in thru 'All Brittish Records'?  I get this if I do that.  I have never used that filter.

Sensible move not to use it/ rely on it.
I just checked out using the Marriage Notices option.. Searched for George Woodcock marriage notices, Newcastle upon Tyne, May 1866, No result.

Repeated the search in the general search, just specifying his name and May 1866, Newcastle upon Tyne and up it pops
https://www.findmypast.co.uk/image-viewer?issue=BL%2F0000865%2F18660519&page=8&article=088&stringtohighlight=george+woodcock

and FS have had this entry (though not the image) in their database of British Newspaper Archives Family Notices (in collaboration with FindMyPast, last updated 2019)

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QLSZ-3S5J

So I remain unimpressed.

I subscribed to BNA when it was introduced and continued to subscribe after newspapers were added to FindMyPast to which I also subscribe. Much prefer navigating BNA and only very recently renewed sub.
However, this post caused me to revisit FindMyPast which turned up the new (at least to me) "Want to get specific? Build your query with Advanced Search." -a bit more like it.

Thanks for the post.
