Should surely be covered in its instructions/manual? What make/model is the camera? Is it linked to your wifi so "events" are also saved to a server/cloud?

My new security camera is Cooau, wifi all set up, sorry i cant understand any jargon when dealing with technology.
With the nest camera which i got rid of after reading it was being discontinued downloading to my mobile was easy even for me, i just thought our Cooau security camera would be the same, its not and its so frustrating for some one like my self who hasn't a clue when it comes to technology :'(

You can pay for cloud storage (almost $70 a year).

I believe from looking at their site that you can also download video using the MIPC app on iPhones and Android phones. Via www.MIPCm.com, you can download the PC client application from the website.

Lots of FAQs here:

I presume you have the App installed and can view both live and recorded video.

If so do look through the manuals both for the camera and for the App.

I suspect that you may have to subscribe to Cooau’s Cloud service where camera footage would be stored and that download’s are only available via Subscription.

I dumped my Ring doorbell and Floodlight Cam as they both required a subscription and they both would not connect to my new cable service WiFi.  I now have a Eufy System installed and all storage is local inside my home via a base unit.
