Really really annoying.

All our devices I have had to faff around getting the codes sorted.

Right in the middle of Family Tree Maker downloading Ancestry data.

Not exactly the same, this thread is to advise that the two stage verification has been implemented by Ancestry.

I was not given the choice the Pop Up required it before we could log in.

As was said elsewhere, this is due to a data breach on 23andme and is to protect you and your data. It is a pain though!

I always stay logged in on my lap top. When the pop up appeared a couple of days ago, I did the 2 step verification to log back in. Since then I've stayed logged in and haven't had to do the verification again.

You can stay logged in for up to 30 days on the same device without having to login or complete verification again.

Annoying and will mean I use it less, but thank god they actually allow you to do it by email, if they didn't it would be bye bye.
