Hello,I really hope someone can help me,I am looking for information on my ancestor Reginald George Henry wells born in Leicestershire 1909 to Joseph Henry wells and Agnes Smith,I believe he died there in 1975,if possible I would like to know if Reginald ever married and had children,thank you for any help anyone can give me,kind regards Dean

The 1939 register shows Reginald as single, a Heel Scourer in a Shoe Factory.  He is shown as living with, I assume, his mother and at least 3 siblings (one line redacted).  Address is 50 Saffron Road, Wigston.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

He left a Will which went through Probate in October 1975, you could apply for a copy and see what information that gives you.

Leicester Mercury on Tuesday 5th August 1975

Of 99 Western Road, several Newspaper notices when he died. Cremation at Gilroes on Thurday 7th at 12.40 p.m.

Passed away peacefully on 2nd August in hospital.

Mentions nephews, nieces, brothers, but no wife or children.

A later notice mentions his will of £7,339 gross, £7,196 net.

In 1921 he was in Countesthorpe with his parents and five siblings.
