John Rees and family were living at Tanycoedcochion in 1841 and I am failing to find a marriage that sits well with William Williams and Rachel or Lucretia  :-\

Thanks Kay,  I have been looking for a couple of days now and nothing.   I'm slowly going through all online headstones in the name of Williams in the area. Hoping to find one with ' loving wife of William Williams and mother to William Eleazer it's a long shot, but you never know!

The records for Carmarthenshire and more don't seen very good online?

I found a baptism record for a Jane Williams - Father William Williams and Mother Mary.  The residence address is Cfymaesllan, Glanyrafon could this be the same farm as Glanyrafon Farm, Pencarreg, Carmarthenshire, Wales where Eleazer lived with his father?

Servant in Husbandry ?

Name   William Williams
Gender   Male
Residence Place   Cfymaesllan Glanyrafon
Occupation   Servant in Husbandry
Spouse   Mary Jones
Child   Jane Williams

It's Cefnmaesllan - there's a farm of that name in Llanarth parish, next to the church. See https://historicplacenames.rcahmw.gov.uk/placenames/recordedname/43329ed7-0524-4355-ba36-3d9c1d0984b6

Pencarreg is around 20 miles away in a different county.
Glanyrafon is a fairly common name - it just means riverside

I doubt this is connected
