There's a surprising amount of info with regard to Gypsy families but I can't
see anything about the Debanks.
Can you give some first names & dates you're looking at ?
It may be a Debank has married into a known Gypsy family.

Hi,

You could ask for this to be moved to the Travelling People group on the Special Interests board.

The one Carol put up refers to the marriage of Julia De Bank.
She was the illegitimate daughter of Ann who married a carpenter.
Julia lived with her grandmother who was an Innkeeper.
We really need the De Bank names.

If one of your ancestors is Robert De Bank born around 1839 in Cromford, Derbyshire, he is in about 20 trees on Ancestry, so worth contacting the tree owners to discuss the matter.

I have a connection to DeBank in Gloucestershire, never seen any gypsy connections though.
