Just to let you know, I didn't need to get Edith's birth certificate after all, I only needed to put it on the Pontlottyn Facebook page! I've been inundated with messages from relatives of Edith and her siblings and yes, this is definitely the Edith I'm looking for, daughter of James and Susannah Sullivan. James was the son of John and Honora Sullivan. John, an Irishman, went over to Wales during the Great Famine and settled there. Everything you gave me matched up, including the addresses, the step-siblings, etc. The only thing is James and Susannah's children, which have been confirmed as James, Norah, Eugene, Rachel, Edith May, Terence, Susannah, Patricia, Dennis and Brian. Several of those didn't appear on FreeBMD. Dennis is still alive and he'll be 90 next year. I'm in touch with his son. You can imagine in a family of ten children how many people there are in the family tree! Thanks for your help.

There is also a Mary Sullivan 1919 with mother's maiden name Price, she may have died young as she is not with the family in 1921only Norah and James.

Yes, I'm told Susannah had 13 children in total, so I'd say Mary was one of those three lost.
