Overcome by gas in her home

Mrs. Geraldine Gowell, 23, of 41 Cherry Street, Lynn, yesterday was found in her home apparently overcome by gas in her home.  The Lynn rescue squad worked over her for a half hour before Dr. Francis Pirone pronounced her dead.  Mrs. Gowell was found by her parents with whom she had left her son earlier in the day.   [Boston Herald, Boston, MA, 14 March 1949]

Can anyone find an additional, and hopefully more detailed, newspaper account of this death?  I am particularly interested in the name of the husband and of the child who, if my reckoning is correct, was a daughter, not a son.

Those numbers came from the image. Ancestry says Index Volume 131 whatever that means

I didn't crosscheck the marriage to see if it was to a Geraldine

There is a Richard Gowell born 3 September 1922 in Swampscott, son of William H Gowell and Beulah V Peary, acc. to his SS information.

The man born 3 September 1922 in Swampscott died in Washington State 18 August 1988 and has two daughters listed as survivors:
remarried, it seems.

that makes more sense. I must have found a different Richard Gowell, because my numbers didn't match up.

a tree at ancestry says that Geraldine and Richard's daughter Karen E, born 9 January 1946 in Salem, died 5 December 1998. no location. has a son, but they don't know the spouse or there wasn't one.

The tree says that the other daughter mentioned in familysearch's summary of Richard's obituary, Lisa Lee Gowell, is a half sister born 11 July 1949 in Tampa, Florida, so presumably the daughter of Richard's second wife Elaine Margaret Childs, who died 26 June 2006 in Seattle. Lisa is said to have died in 2002 in St Bernard's Parish, Louisiana.

I didn't find Richard or Karen in 1950 and the Hudsons didn't have Karen.
