Hi Neale

I have the booklet but they're stacked away. If no one else comes on with the info, I'll put the info up tomorrow.

Many Thanks Gadget. That's a great help.
I'm off now to explore those Carlisle connections.
Cheers. :)

Hi again Neale

I'm not sure if you've chased up mo Mary Milligan d Dumfries 7.1. 1891 77 but I've had a quick look on SP death index and can't find anyone that fits that description.

It looks as if the info in parentheses might have been inscribed much later and, maybe, the info is not accurate??

Hi Gadget. Yes, I did pick up that error. I am fairly sure the death referred to is this one:

CAMPBELL    MARY MCMINN   77
Mother- MILLIGAN   F
1891   882 / 61   TROQUEER

She was daughter of Samuel Campbell and sister to John and Geo Campbell who died in Carlisle. So the relationship and name on the memorial stone is not correct.
Milligan - Jardine – Glencross – Dinwoodie - Brown: (Dumfriesshire & Kirkcudbrightshire)
Clark – Faulds – Cuthbertson – Bryson – Wilson: (Ayrshire & Renfrewshire)
Neale – Cater – Kinder - Harrison: (Warwickshire & Queensland)
Roberts - Spry: (Cornwall, Middlesex & Queensland)
Munster: (Schleswig-Holstein & Queensland) and Plate: (Braunschweig, Neubruck & Queensland & New York)
