Not able to help you with a look-up, sorry - but adding here for whomever can assist, some additional information which will be needed in order to locate the ITM record as these are only card-indexed up until 1881.

The date of their wedding at Greytown (South Wairarapa) was  ...   23 May 1896

[ Year:  1896  -- Folio 1484  (source NZSG Marriages)  - I've always found having the folio number from the old records, helpful in more easily locating the actual record at Archives NZ.    ]

??    Certainly there are a number of family trees published at ancestry.com for this PERRY / RAWLINGS family (and it's wise to treat them with caution as details within,  may not always be correct).   

But the author of this thread is actually seeking a look-up of the "Intention to Marry Notice"  (ITM) which is an additonal resources available for New Zealand Marriages 1856 to 1956 (although only card-indexed until 1881 - thereafter it is necessary to know the actual place of marriage and precise date of same.)

I don't have Ancestry, but there are a number of online trees that have conflicting information.
Hoping that future searchers find this info & it can clarify maybe?

There are 3 GHP deaths in NZ; adding to the confusion is the 2 born around the same time & both were married in the Wairarapa.
#1=1949/24146   Perry   George Henry   78Y   b.C1871
#2=1956/31297   Perry   George Henry   84Y   b.1872-Masterton

#1 married twice [RAWLINGS & BATEMAN] & died in Wanganui [https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/243488886/george-henry-perry]
#2 is the son of Bennett & Mary md.Ada MAUNSELL & died in Masterton & is buried with his wife [https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/233349867/george-henry-perry]

If you are searching for the origin of the George Henry PERRY (who firstly married Ann Elizabeth RAWLINGS - 1896) ... then you will find this information on his WW1 NZ Army file :

George Henry PERRY was born at Barnsley, (Yorkshire), England .... according to the information he provided on enlistment for the Army (1917) - the son of Andrew and Ann Elizabeth PERRY .    His birthdate is recorded as 7 January 1868 - the year is at odds though with a probable birth registration at Barnsley (1871- 1st Quarter) ... and there is conflicting info re: birthplace *, in the 1871 census (at Barnsley, Yorkshire).  NOTE:   1871 has the family indexed as "PARRY"

By 1881 George Henry PERRY (10 yrs) is living in Staffordshire, ENG.  with his father Andrew PERRY (55 years ?) - a  bricklayer, and a housekeeper named Lydia.

Added :  *    "Conflicting" because, in 1871 (Census) George Henry (aged 1 -- and that may mean "under 1 year of age), is shown "as ditto - same birthplace (Darlington, Durham)" as his brother Wiiliam A. who is listed above.
