Thelsea Grove in 1901

Thelsea Lilian GROVE's birth is registered in Sep 1897.
She appears in the 1911 census with her mother, Alice Grove, living in Harborne, Worcs, where it says that she was born in Smethwick (ie part of Harborne).
Her mother is with her family in 1901 in Harborne, but there is no sign of Thelsea.
Have they hidden her through the shame of illegitimacy or is there a more prosaic answer?

Try looking  under her Christian name and birth 2 years either side of her birth year shown. LM

Added, on free bed's there are only 3 listing of Thelsea and I believe it is the same woman  married to?   Mitchell .

Maybe she was just accidentally missed off by either Edwin when he completed the form or the enumerator when they transferred the details.

I have looked for her under all sorts of combinations (Thelsea/Thels*/TG/Grove etc) but not found her (which may be just me, of course).
Yes, she does later marry a Mitchell.
I would just like to know who was looking after he in 1901.
My guess is that she was with them, but they just left her off the census for whatever reason.

She is with the family in 1911 when she was 13.  She would only have been 3 when not there

She did have a middle name, can't recall it right now, I haven't looked at the census.
