My beloved Nana passed away today!

Just wanted to share the sad news of the passing of my beloved Nana,

Irene Lane (nee Jones) - a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother - 1927 to 2023 - she was our queen, a real treasure, a font of wisdom & knowledge, oozed love from every pore, our sunshine - love you Nana xx

Not easy at any time, but at a family time like Christmas ,doubly sad.
A long life and much loved to the end, there is no better way.
Doesn’t make it easier though does it ,for those who loved her.

Sincere condolences for your loss.

My 90-year-old father passed away on 20th December last year - the day after my son's birthday - so I know how especially painful it can be to lose someone you love at this time of year. 

Christmas Day will doubtless be difficult, but try if you can to raise a glass of the sparking stuff and smile at the wonderful memories she's left you xx
