Richard leaves a will 1771 ,made 1768.Eldest son Richard gets Brooks berry meadow in Church Stretton so they would have been constant visitors to the village.Mary gets £120 , a feather bed ,chest ,2 long pewter spoons and 2 long silver spoons .
Also children Richard ,Margaret Rogers ,Martha and daughter in law Eleanor Beaumont so probably baptisms I've missed.
William looks to be bapt 30 June 1762 the son of Thomas and Hannah Russell nee Rogers married Moele Brace but both of Church Stretton 25 April 1750.Hannah senior buried 17 Jul;y 1778 .Several possible burials for Thomas.

In 1773 Thomas seems to be acquiring The Swan and Malt Shovel public house when John Steward couldn't pay the mortgage. Just in case it's still there.Thomas is described as a yeoman.
I'm sorry if I got a bit carried away but I was on a roll
