BOLESLAW marriage in Moravské Knínice (Mährisch Kinitz) 1729 latin
« on: Sunday 17 December 23 16:06 GMT (UK) »
Hello,
Need help with bride Barbara's details on her marriage to the " honestus adolescent "Simon Boleslaw January 1729, second up from bottom, left side.

Is it Barbara daughter of late Paul something? Of Gureina which I think is Latinised version of Gurein/Kuřim.

Some villages, with their Latin name
Moravské Knínice - Kinitzij
Lelekovice - Lelekowitzio
Kuřim - Guraina

+ means deceased

Kinitzij 23. Januarij 1729
Honestus Adolescens Simon Boleslav Lelekowitzio
cum
Virgine Barbara + Paul ... filia Gurana

Kninice, 23 January 1729
the honest young man Simon Boleslav from Lelekovice
with
the virgin (young maid) Barbara, daughter of the late Paul ... from Kurim

Thanks Zefiro.
I've just added to my tree on ancestry and there is 1 person who has Simon Boleslaw on their tree and they have Barbara 's last name as Schichta.
What do you think?

I read Schuchta but was unsure, so decided to leave it open

I think it ends "uchta" too, but am not familiar with Czech surnames! I have messaged the ancestry tree owner (in Czech thanks to google) so will see if I get a response.
