Looking for a friend.  Minnie Josephine McCarthy , born 23 June 1883 Waterford Ireland. No birth cert as yet.  Father Patrick McCarthy , according to marriage cert,  Born Cogleton Chesher date unknown.  Minnie married in Liverpool 1908 to Robert Allen Griffiths.  1911 lived in Chester. Mother unknown.  Can't find her in 1901.  A y help appreciated.

The 1911 census gives Minnie's birth place is “Passage East, Waterford, Ireland" (It is a fishing village)

Given that Minnie is often the pet name for Mary / Maria. Have a look at this birth for Mary 11 June 1881.
Abode is Hill of passage. Father is Patrick a fisherman.
