My relation William Wheeler married a Mary Cottrell June qtr 1900 Evesham 6c 617.
On 11/10/1901 they had a son called Frank Horace Wheeler born in Arley, Warwickshire mmn Cotterill
In 1911 they were living in Coleshill
In 1921 William was in Meriden Institution, he died in 1922. Mary was living at Nether Whitacre and was born in Aldington.
I am trying to find Mary's Birth and her parents also where she was in 1871.
I think she is living at Church Lench in 1881. It says she is born in Badsey which is close to Aldington.
This is what I have found so far.
On the GRO Mary Cottrill Sept qtr 1861 Evesham 6c 315(Dyer).
On FreeBMD Mary Jane Cottrell Dec qtr 1860 Evesham 6c 315 but cant find on GRO hence no mmn.
There is a Mary Jane born in Bretforton which is just down the road from Aldington and I have found her baptism and with her parents in the census's, her parents are Richard and Jane. So that is not her and I think that is the one above.
Going back to my Mary.
I have tried to find a Cottre(i)ll marrying a Dyer but no luck there.
I have found a Thomas Cottrell marrying June 1860 Evesham Elizabeth Knight or Ellen Roberts.
I have found on GRO Sarah Ann Cottrill born 1860(Knight)
So the question is who are Mary's parents and where is she in 1871.
