Yes, thats correct.

George was named in Doris's will as an administrator - in other words he needed to administer her estate and to carry out the wishes of Doris as set out in her will.

In 1960-1961 George is listed on the electoral roll living at 22 College Road, Handsworth with Doris E Coombes.

Update***

I have a feeling the electoral roll information refers to the previous year - 1959 -  so Doris E Coombes could actually be Doris G Coombes.

I have now got all the images. I tried to find Doris Coombes on ancestry in 1939, but I couldnt find it. So I found the Probate and it had the row of images(electoral roles and 1939) so that was great.
