Possible baptism for sister Eliza as Elizabeth
Allesley 14 Nov 1816 Elizabeth dau of John & Elizabeth Swaine
Same parish to same parents 27 May 1815 Charles

The John in Coventry is a weaver, the one in Allesley a labourer on the baptism records so not the same couple.

Esther appears in the Warwickshire Bastardy indexes
record 24 Nov 1846 order made against putative father William Hope
and 23 May 1848 father not recorded, judgement dismissed.
The second record could be for Alfred who was baptised 11 April 1848 and buried 21 Sept

I did wonder about the father's occupations and how they differ. I wonder who the Charles in 1841 is then if not a son of Elizabeth Swain & brother of Esther.

Yes, Esther seemed to have two illegitimate children before co-habiting with Benjamin Mullis. I couldn't find a father for Alfred.

Ah thanks. I wonder why I couldn't find his baptisms for Charles and Elizabeth. I found all the other siblings!
