WW1 British War Medal and Victory Medal Number?

I used to play in Fort Camp in Hightown as a Kid in Ford
Got involved in this case as Administrator of King's Forum as the Family were told he was in the King's Liverpool Regt but we can't explain why pre Conscription he Enlisted into the Border Regt in 1914 presume he lived in Walton area then.
