Just adding (though I don't have the image in front of me at present) that I think it had 'Sureties' written in red in the left hand column, and on the right hand page there was a reference to an entry in an earlier book. This might give more information about the actual offence.

Also, I think the Sentence column indicated either 7 days or a fine - so if he'd failed to raise the amount of his bond, he was possibly also unable to pay the fine, which would account for him being sent to prison instead.
Researching among others:
Bartle, Bilton, Bingley, Campbell, Craven, Emmott, Harcourt, Hirst, Kellet(t), Kennedy,
Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson

There's a similar case a few weeks later: Thomas Livingstone 16124

https://www.ancestry.co.uk/discoveryui-content/view/68409:5085

He was originally brought before the court the previous April and was bound over to keep the peace. He committed a further offence in November, and was brought before the court in January for breach of recognisances. He was then sentenced to 3 months imprisonment for the original offence.
