You have posted on the Beginners board but presume you are referring to Howth in Dublin

Which McAdams family?  There is this one on the Irish 1911 census but you haven’t given any christian names or birthyears

The Irish 1901 & 1911 is free to search here

Have you checked the Surnames Interests Board - scroll to bottom of this page & link is under TOOLS

1901 gives you the father’s name as Edward and Esther’s surname via her mother living with them
http://census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Dublin/Howth/Howth/1270742/
Which leads to this marriage in 1872 giving you their father’s names

https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1872/11324/8155772.pdf
You will need to prove your not a robot and sign in, initials will do
You should be able to find the children’s births there as well

https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp

Also put Edward and his son John into Shipping agreements and crew lists

http://census.nationalarchives.ie/search/cl/home.jsp

That should keep you busy for a while.
